I and my family have been using SFCS for many years. They do great work, are very dependable and extremely honest. They give clear explanations of what they found, what they did or have to do and why. I own a business in the service industry and they run their business like I run mine. It's like having your favorite brother or cousin work on your car.

I got an oil change and tire rotation done here for my Subaru outback. Service was prompt (despite heavy store traffic that day and what sounded like a full schedule), and super friendly, and they were very patient in explaining to me what was being done, and answering my questions. Overall a great experience. Prices are fair - not too high, but also not a bargain. I would come back again because the service is more personal than the dealer, and are more honest than dealer (never tried to sell me additional services I didn't need, were not pushy). 4 stars instead of 5 because what I got done was standard, and it was hard for me to tell whether the service was above and beyond. After a few more visits here, depending on how it goes, I will update the review.

I've just had my 1998 Durango serviced at Sunnyvale Foreign Car Service; it has another 15 years in it! I keep thinking that I should replace it but every time you guys service it I decide to keep it for another year. Great job, team.

I brought my newly acquired 12 year old used Infiniti-QX4 in to SFCS for a diagnostic check and alignment. I just had it serviced at the local Infiniti dealer and wanted a 2nd diagnosis mainly because I need this vehicle to not leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere, and I know the guys at Sunnyvale Foreign Car Service are master detectives when it comes to vehicles. Also, unlike a lot of shops, the guys at SFCS will be very happy to talk to you about the details of your vehicle, as opposed to some places where a suit parses all the information from the mechanic doing the work. During the check Matt and his team found a few issues the dealer didn't spot, and even found that the newly installed brake fluid from the dealer had excessive moisture. He took it upon himself get to the root cause of how newly installed brake fluid could have excessive moisture, going as far as double checking his measurement equipment, contacting the brake fluid manufacturer and doing a follow up with the dealer. Matt's primary concern was making sure the quality of brake fluid out of the bottle was up to par. Here's the real kicker... he didn't charge me for replacing the defective fluid put in by the dealer! Regarding the alignment, I really liked that they provided me with a detailed alignment report. And my truck drove better afterwards. There were also 3 issues the dealer noted and were going to be fairly expensive to fix. Matt looked at these issues and felt only one of them was serious enough to fix at the moment, and that the other two could be put off for a while, perhaps until a future maintenance requires diving into that part of the car.
